THE EXPERIENCE
The Pledge 4 Hope Fun Run Experience is an 8 day program that is a combination of an exciting Fun Run Event, Student Centered Character Building Lessons, and a Highly Profitable School Fundraiser! Combined together this event creates a lasting and memorable experience that is fun for studendents and stress-free for schools. Students collect pledges from family, friends, neighbors, businesses, etc. Sponsors simply pledge a per=lap amount or flat donation toward that student’s Pledge 4 Hope Fun Run. The lap average for the Fun Run is typically 35 - 40 laps. For example, if a sponsor pledges $1 dollar per lap, the total amount pledged would be $35 - $40 and is tax deductible.
Pep Rally Kickoff
This is the kickoff event to the Pledge 4 Hope Fun Run. The Pledge 4 Hope Team introduces the event to students in a general assembly format with a live, fun and exciting program! Students learn about the Pledge 4 Hope Fun Run and that everyone participates. The Pledge 4 Hope Team also introduces our Character Counts theme that will be discussed during the event while also explaining how th students will get pledges to help their school. Students receive an informational Pledge 4 Hope Pledge Book with simple, step by step instructions.
Team Impact Days
The next six days are Team Impact Days. Each day the Pledge 4 Hope Fun Run Team will introduce the character trait of the day, incentivize students for helping their school by receiving pledges, and remind students about the upcoming Pledge 4 Hope Fun Run. Each class works together as a team with the teacher as their Team Leader. Each class chooses a team nickname and creates a team banner to show off at the Fun Run. Team Impact Days are fun, creative, educational, and designed to minimize class interruption.
Fun Run Event
The Pledge 4 Hope Fun Run Event is the most anticipated day of the entire program! Students will make their way to the Pledge 4 Hope Fun Run track. As they enter through the “Tunnel of Champions”, the students are greeted in “Superstar Fashion” by parents and the Fun Run Team. The students will run, skip, dance for approximately 30 minutes to fun, themed music. Parents and guests will view the event from the “VIP” area located on the inside of the track and are invited to cheer on the students as everyone celebrates! Students will run between 35 and 40 laps (40 is the lap cap). Every detail is handled by the Pledge 4 Hope Fun Run Team to create a n incredibly fun and memorable experience for students, teachers, and parents!
